Alysia Donohue
Editor
Alysia Donohue is committed to advancing gender equity through education, community action, and supporting women in identifying their strengths to create change in their communities.
Alysia received her BA from Villanova University in Global Studies and Economics, specializing in Gender, Race, and Representation. During her time as a student, she partnered with the McNulty Institute on an initiative to expand the diversity curriculum at Villanova. Later, Alysia became an Ambassador to the Institute as part of the Lorenzini Family Leadership Ambassador Program. Alysia is a recipient of the Dr. Richard A. Neville Distinguished Student Award, presented for excelling academically while leading and serving the Villanova community.
Post graduation, Alysia remains relevant in gender equity work, most recently receiving an Honorable Mention in a Women’s History Month Essay Competition in 2021. Following her graduation from VU, she currently leads interactive leadership workshops for girls in her community to develop leadership styles catered to their strengths.

Victoria Acosta

Victoria Acosta is currently a Villanova Business School Freshman. She is planning on majoring in Finance and International Business with a minor in Business Law.
Victoria is involved in a myriad of different on-campus activities. Some of which include working on the Business Schools’ Deans Advisory Board, serving as an English tutor to immigrants, participating in a consulting group for the Villanova Business School Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and engaging in a marketing research group. She works as an ambassador for The Anne Welsh McNulty Institute for Women in Leadership. Victoria is a Dean’s list student as well as a St. Martin De Porres Scholarship Recipient.

Elena Rouse

Elena Rouse is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Communications and English at Villanova University. She works as an ambassador for The Anne Welsh McNulty Institute for Women in Leadership. The role includes leadership training and a long term action plan to promote equality and strong future leaders.
Elena also serves as an editor for the culture section of her University’s newspaper.
The Leadership Diaries are a passion for Elena. Her role on the team is to reach out to potential people to highlight, interview them, and create entries.
